  1. As i remember, i started to learn english when i was 7 years old. At that time, my parents enrolled me to an english course near my house. My favorite activities was watching a movie, heard the story telling and playing scrabble. But when it came to study about grammar, i wanted to go home. And that habit continues as i grow up.

When i was in high school, i realize that it was important to take TOEFL for my further education. As we all know, TOEFL is about grammar things and i hate to study about that. I fond it was very boring to study about structure because it feels same like when you study math. You have to remember all the patterns and pay attention on the structure. I prefer to study about the culture and coversation because you don‘t have to worry about the grammar as long as people understand what you are saying.

  2. For me,learnig english is actually fun as long as people understand what i am trying to say but it will be difficult for me if i am trying to say something in english but people does not try to catch what i am trying to say. What i like from learning in english is that we can get along with other people from other country, can make us easier to find a job and also understand what people say if they were having conversation in english and also by learning english,we can know new things like culture and tradition from other country.
But,i also have thing that i does not like in learning english. The thing are the pattern and also the grammar. Sometime,i was wondering why grammar and pattern are so important? i think as long as other people understand is enough because talking does not need rule as long it is in polite way.

  9. Well, actually English language is very important for many people in this world. With English language everybody in this world can speak each other and have a communication so that they do not have miss understanding to each other. For me English language is very important. That’s why I choose BiNus International to practice my self. I’ve been learn English language since I was 7 or 8 years old. Actually, I like to learn English Language. I like to find another word or interesting word. Sometime, if I heard a song I like to find out what is the meaning of the word that I don’t know. But, in the other side, sometimes I find out the difficulties about learn the English language. For example honestly, I little bit confuse with the English grammar. I don’t know why but for me grammar rules make me bored to learn English language.

  10. English is a world language!
I love learning languages. For me, it is so significant and so common that english is the main language to communicate with people when we are traveling.

What I like about studying English is when I watch movies or read novels. I love to do both. In my opinion, learning from movies by listening to native speakers speak, we can improve our pronunciation. Next is reading. Reading is extremely important for us to catch up a lot of new words which then increases our vocabulary. From my experience, it helped me quite a lot in writing and structuring my essay. Some of the books that I've read are Twilight series(awesome!), Harry Potter, Sisterhood of the traveling pants, the child called "IT"(extremely touching).

Honestly I am kind of bored learning the theoretical part, like grammar, making summary, or descriptive argumentative and narrative essays. but i admit this helps me a lot even when i practice speaking english.

  11. I can say that learning english is so much fun than chinese. Not that english is much easier (the hardest thing is the grammar). It's hard for me.
    There are also the tenses.
    They're driving me mad..

What's fun is learning by reading, watching TV and playing games, which you can have fun and yet you are able to get something from it. e.g: different kinds of sentence structure..

Some of my friends wrote that they are ok knowing english even just a little bit and as long as people understand what they are saying, but me myself think otherwise.
I want to be able to speak, not perfect, but at least good english.
As I had the oppurtunity to go to an international school since I was still in primary 4.
So, with that backgroud of mine, I wanted to prove myself that I can speak english well

but,, it might be a long way for me..

  12. according to me, learning english is very fun. not just english. learning languages is fun because as we learn other countries' languages, we also learn their cultures, their lifestyles, etc.
i started to learn english since i was in junior high school. at first, i think english is very difficult and i couldn't understand what my teachers were saying because it was an international school i'm in.
but i try to always speak english with my friends although i spoke bad english. but since i kept practicing, my english improved and i am able to understand well when people talk using english.

besides, i like english because we can use it when we go abroad to countries where their primary language is english. nowadays if people cannot speak english, they will be difficult to find jobs.
what i hate about english is that the grammar thing is difficult to be remembered. but i think as long as people understand me, i don't have to worry so much.

  13. For me the most difficult part of learning english is the grammar, prepositions, and the technical vocabulary...

I don't really have a problem with the pronunciation (or at least i think so), and normal vocabulary.
but sometimes i get bored with learning theory...
I prefer to learn english by practicing, watching movie talking with native speakers or someone who can speak english very well who can correct my english.... but not from reading the english theory book.
