- First because in the HTM I get new knowledge.

actually, i really like study in htm major, because i learn many things from here. and also from we study about htm, i expect that i can be more appreciate in many things round of the world.

the most interesting is cuisine subject.. because i want to be professional chef, is my dream.
the most least interesting is about calculate, n computer science, i don't like subject that we have to memorize many things

it's hard for me to enjoy this program,, well actually it's because I wanted to take fashion design, but my mom doesn't approve.
it is surprisingly just an ordinary studying environment
it's like I was in high school again. nothing has change much for me and I am becoming even lazier and lazier.
only a subject or two are new for me.
the most enjoyable part would be the cooking part, even though it is not that fun.
the least interesting part of this is learning the same things I learnt in high school.

Honestly,for me htm is not fun at all cos for what i have in binus right now is same like my high school. Everyday we start the lesson at 7:30,it is like sis school but the difference is located at the 'university' word. If there's no university,i guess all is the same. But,htm is the major that i expected so that is why in binus i take htm major. The thing that make me surprise is that in the first semester,we have math lesson cos i think by entering this major,i will never meet this subject again cos i hate it so much and second is accounting. I think i will never meet this 2 subject again but i think i am wrong. The most enjoyable part is cooking and restaurant part cos it is hard to cook even to be a waiter/waitress.

when i first considered to enter the HTM major, i thought that HTM will be very fun but actually when i am already in this major, it's not so much fun as i thought.
ReplyDeletei've just realized that i need lots of energies to be in this major that everything is so tiring especially the practical things.
of all, i think being in the HTM major is just fine as we got the opportunities to try many things,to get experiences.
for me,cooking class is the most interesting part because we were taught how to cook and i can try different kind of foods that are made by myself.i enjoy this class. but most of the time, having this cooking class is extremely tiring as the kitchen is very very hot and we have to wear that chef uniforms which makes us tortured.
and for the least interesting part,i agreed with femine's statement that most of the things we learn now are the things we learnt in high school.
Not at all, because at the first i want to take the HTM major and look for the information about Binus HTM. It said the facilities about this major is already complete but, in the real I was studied at HTM is not already. It make me Dissapointed...

The Most not enjoyable I think is Accounting Of Finance because at the senior high school i don`t ever get the basic accounting.
Yes, studying HTM is as I expected, because I find many interesting subjects to be studied. Which is also meet my hobby and interest like cooking, restaurant, cuisine, etc. However I find several things that are not suitable with my preference such as uncompleted kitchen, no air conditioner in the restaurant and in proper schedule.

The most interesting enjoyable part of my study are cooking and other practices that related to kitchen activities.
The least interesting enjoyable part in my study are theoretical aspect of the study.
Honestly, I was confused of what major that best fits me.
ReplyDeletewell, i really wanted to go overseas to continue my studies but unfortunately the condition is not possible enough that I have to stay in Indonesia. I've just graduated from grade 10 and Binus allows me to enter with IGCSE certificate. Compared to other universities in Jakarta, Binus is the only one with international program that has link with overseas universities for double degree program. So I think I have the opportunity to go abroad after studying for 2 to 3years in Binus.
About taking major, surprisingly, Femine and I are in a kind of the same situation. I'm in love with fashion world too. I'm interested in fashion business major but there isn't this kind of major in binus. I attended the seminar during the open house, the first time I was considering of taking marketing, but when Ms Hera talked about this new HTM program, it seemed to be so much interesting and fun major to take.
Here I am, in HTM class now. To be honest, I did not experience the same ''so much fun and interesting'' as what I had expected in the seminar. It is just okay. I agree with Femine and Siever’s statement. Actually I have already covered the basic things in high school. For example, marketing, I took business studies in my high school so I feel like I am just reviewing the materials that I’ve studied so far. The only thing that I feel different is only cooking, which is not quite interesting for me.
I’m now getting used to this kind of life style. Sometimes I reckon that choosing the wrong path of major is just ordinary, there are a lot of people who mistakenly take the wrong major.
I hope I can survive =)
Well, actually I am very interesting with hospitality and tourism management major…but sometimes I get bored with the subject…and I think that I am very lucky to be a student at binus international.. and I guess I was right to choose hospitality and tourism management even thought, sometime I feel the subject is very difficult and I feel so desperate to understand…well, my favorite subject is cooking…because the class is very fun.. beside that I really like to cook..and I think I not interesting with accounting subject…because I hate to count something..
ReplyDeleteFor me studying in HTM is like what I expected. I’m very grateful that I rarely had difficulties in studying eventough most of the subjects are new for me. I learned many new things that I never studied before in high school, such as marketing, cuisine and accounting. It is fun to learn further how to develop hospitality&tourism industry.
ReplyDeleteI think the most suprising thing in this major is the uniform regulation. This is the thing that I never imagine before because I always pictured myself wearing t-shirt, jeans&sneakers(absolutely no high heels) when I go study in university. But, despite that fact, I still enjoy study in HTM because I don’t have to sit and always listening all the lecturing things in the classroom. In practical session, I study how to cook(cuisine class) and how to run restaurant operation.
Finally, beside all the joy things, it is true that not all subjects in HTM are enjoyable. But, I also must through that part because I can’t deny it. Now, my focus is only studying hard thus I can get the best score. So, I hope I can graduate from Binus in 2012.

lucky i love traveling and all the tourism subjects helps me to enjoy this major... like geography in tourism, introduction to tourism... everything about tourism
but the mathematics or accounting subjects always make me exhales a lot...
